In an exclusive interview with TV Patrol, Anne Curtis finally broke her silence about a photo spreading online that showed how her bikini top accidentally slipped and exposed her right breast during an ASAP XV production number in Boracay last weekend. The incident could have easily died down were it not for people uploading the photo on the Internet, which in turn has badly affected the young actress. “Yes, galit ako. Feeling ko nabastos ako sobra. Oo, maiintindihan ko kung word of mouth lang, pinag-usapan, pero para ilabas pa nila yung picture, that's below the belt na,” she told Star Patroller Gretchen Fullido. It’s not as if she intended to expose herself to the public since she even used double-sided tape to secure her swimsuit. “But the thing is yung action of doing the lift, natanggal talaga siya.”
What further irked her is that the person/persons who took the photo didn’t have the decency to ask her manager’s permission to publish it or to get her reaction first before turning it into Tinseltown’s latest scandal. As a matter of fact, Anne’s willing to press charges against whoever’s responsible for the controversy should her talent agency, Viva, decide to do so. “If Viva believes na merong kaso yun, ako I’m all for it para tumigil lang. Hindi lang [para] sa akin pero kung may mga susunod pa, or para sa mga iba na nangyari na ito sa kanila pero they didn’t have the guts to make laban. Ako, if Viva thinks that that's the case, I will support it kasi pagkatao ko yun e, katawan ko yun e, ako yun and hindi ko naman sinadya. Wala silang puso sa ginawa nila. Sana nakakatulog sila ng maayos at sana masaya sila sa ginagawa nila na alam nilang meron silang nasasaktan na tao.”
If there’s anything she has learned from the incident, Anne stressed that it helped her make a stronger person, especially when it comes to facing a scandal such as this one. But at the same time, she begged everyone to put a stop to the issue by getting rid of that picture as soon as possible. “Well as you all know, it's a wardrobe malfunction. Hindi talaga ako ang may gawa nun. I mean, wala naman akong choice, nasa Boracay kami, naka-bikini kami. The only thing I can do now is move on, deal with it, and let’s hope na it will pass already. Sana lahat nung may pictures tigilan na yung paglo-load at dun sa mga naka-upload na sa mgablogs nila, please tanggalin ni’yo na,” she reiterated.
